25th Anniversary Traditions

A 25th anniversary is a milestone event and is a great time to get together with friends and family to celebrate. This anniversary is known as the "silver anniversary" because of the old German practice of giving a silver wreath to a woman after 25 years of marriage. Silver is the customary color for this anniversary, as well as the gemstone and traditional gift. The designated flower for the 25th anniversary is the Iris.
